Hathersage, Peak District

 

Join us this April for an unforgettable trail running training camp in the heart of the stunning Peak District. Based in the beautiful village of Hathersage in the Hope Valley, we’ll explore some of the UK’s most iconic landscapes — from the rugged ridgelines of Stanage and Burbage Edges to the sweeping trails around Ladybower Reservoir.

Whether you’re training for an ultra, building confidence on the trails, or looking to take your running to the next level, this camp is designed for you.

✅ Expert coaching – with practical workshops and support from our qualified leaders
✅ Nutrition advice – from in-house trail nutritionist Robbie Puddick
✅ Small group support – with multiple run leaders, we cater for all paces and abilities
✅ Time to recharge – soak tired legs in the heated outdoor Lido, enjoy top-notch catering in the bunkhouse, and wind down with a well-earned visit to the local pub.

Cost includes: 3 days of fully supported runs, bunkhouse accommodation, all catered meals at the bunkhouse, quality training from our professional Coaches and Mountain Leaders and nutrition advice from Trail Runner's Clubs nutritionist Robbie Puddick!

Overview 

Day 1 - arrive midday: Orientation and lunch

Afternoon: 10-15K in the Hope Valley followed by a theory workshop - Race planning; pacing, nutrition and personal objectives

Evening: catered dinner

 

Day 2 - Morning: Theory session - Safety and navigation in the Peak

Afternoon: Safety and navigation practical exercise (have your maps and compasses at the ready - up to 3 hours) on the Edges

Optional trip to the Lido

Evening: Dinner at a local pub.

Day 3 - A long run putting into practice all that has been learned over the weekend (Approx 25km)

Length: 3 days, approx. 50km

Accommodation: Thorpe Farm, Hathersage

Ability: Anyone and everyone!

Adventurers should bring: All equipment needed for 3 days running/hiking in the mountains. A small, personal first aid kit, snack supplies (these can be stored in the support vehicle). Map and compass (optional). Comprehensive kit list sent out in confirmation email.
