Club Events
With at least 16 exciting club runs every month, as a member of South East London Trail Runners you will always be able to find a run to suit you.
We do not have a fixed schedule and some runs change time, location, and day each week. This is how we keep everything adventurous! Generally, you can expect the following to be available every week:
-
A beginners 5k at various locations such as Blackheath, Beckenham Place Park and more.
-
Coached skills sessions alternating between hills and speed and suitable for all abilities.
-
A weekday run of around 10K in various locations such as Oxleas, Scadbury Woods, Dulwich and surrounding parks and more.
-
Various weekend long runs in locations easily accessible from South East London like the Downs, Surrey Hills, Kent Coast and more.
Due to popular demand, we will offer the majority of our runs in the morning to start with but will also respond to what works for our members.
We also organise a selection of running camps every year in locations like the Peak District, Lake District, Dartmoor, Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons (tickets for camps are sold separately).
Member Benefits
In our opinion, the biggest benefits of being a SELTR member are making friends, socialising, and enjoying the trails as part of a team and community.
Watch your fitness and performance improve as we run in some of the most beautiful areas in South East London (and beyond!).
SELTR members also enjoy discounts from various partners including sports massage therapists, kit providers and many more.

FAQs
How does the schedule work?
The next month's schedule is released to members near the end of the previous month. It contains everything you need to know, including dates and times, route info, meeting locations, and any required kit.
Where are your runs?
Our monthly schedules combine regular club trails with new routes every month - this helps to keep things varied and sometimes a little spicy!
When are your runs?
Again, the run schedule will differ slightly from month-to-month. However, in general, there will be at least one weekend run (usually at 9am), and runs during the week will usually be at 6:30 am or pm.
What are the runs like?
Think of our runs as a reason to be outdoors, with a bit of running thrown in! They're not for chasing PBs or for show-offs, our runs are chatty, friendly and scenic adventures!
Who leads the runs?
Our run leaders are a really friendly crew, and are all from different running backgrounds. They're all England Athletics LiRF or CiRF qualified, and are a really experienced and passionate bunch of trail runners!
Is it just running, running and more running?
Absolutely not! We really love the additional social aspects of being part of a club, including:
-
(Non-running!) social events
-
Post-run socials
-
Chat to other members on our Slack channel
-
Meetups at races and events
